You Can Help Support Camp Rainbow The Camp Rainbow Foundation recognizes that the ability to provide a successful and enriching summer experience for our campers hinges greatly on the tremendous generosity and support we receive from sponsors and donors. All donations are tax-deductible, and are applied directly to Camp Rainbow expenses. Here are a few ways you can help support Camp Rainbow: In-Kind Donations Camp Rainbow gladly accepts donations of goods and services, also known as in-kind donations. Over the years, we have been fortunate enough to have magicians, clowns, Fred Bird, DJs, bands, professional athletes donate their time and talents, and more throughout the week of camp. We also receive goods from candy companies, ice cream shops, and a variety of other vendors, all of which help make Camp Rainbow an unforgettable experience for our campers. Gift of Securities / Stocks Gifts of securities are a great way to support Camp Rainbow while providing you with a tax deduction for the current, full market value of the securities. There are three main types of securities that can be donated to the camp: publicly traded stock in a corporation, shares in a mutual fund, or bonds. A gift of securities is often advantageous to the donor who owns stocks with low yield, which may have been held long-term and have increased in value. Please be advised that it is the policy of Camp Rainbow to sell the securities immediately upon transfer.
