COVID INFO

Safety is Our Priority

The safety of our campers, families, volunteers, and staff is always our first priority. As we recover from the Covid-19 pandemic and re-open our in-person camp programs, we wanted to share our updated procedures implemented to ensure safety and to support a smooth transition to welcome you back to Camp Rainbow.

While our strategies are subject to change based on the latest public health data as well as guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the American Camp Association (ACA), the public health department, and our own Medical Advisory Board.

This year at camp, your camper can expect to have fun, create meaningful connections, join an amazing support community, and create camp magic.  You can also expect the following:

  • Shorter camp sessions
  • Fewer campers and fewer volunteers
  • No daily visitors
  • Programming in cohorts, primarily outside, with limited shared items
  • Masking
  • No field trips or transportation provided
  • Schedules which allow for safe, socially distanced fun to be had by all!
